My understanding has limited Guild Wars 2 for only windows users. I have a 27 inch mac that runs WoW better than any pc I have encountered. (please don't make this a pc vs. Mac topic) In lieu of the upcoming beta (weeks or months from now) and the game release, I bootcamped windows onto my Mac because I won't let that stop me and didn't want to have to worry about rushing to get a copy of windows to be able to join in the greatness of beta. In addition to other uses, the main reason I put Windows on my mac was to support GW2 because every time i see a video of the game my blood pressure increases. I fear one of these days I will have a heart attack from it. My understanding of bootcamp has left me to believe that my computer's full resources are used to run Windows so that said is it going to be sufficient in running GW2?

The recently responded via twitter to a question posed to them about Mac's asking if they hadnt updated their FAQ and were going to allow Mac support. Anet responded that their FAQ was updated and was still PC only. And that was like 2 days ago.If they are having a small team looking into a console port(so they said), they will definitely try to get it on mac, I mean, something else would be weird.
Doesn't mean it will be there when PC version launches though. But seems your problem is non-existant, as the poster above pointed out. I've never really understood the need for mac ports of games. Mac port means reworking the game to work with Mac OS APIs (usually opengl, etc) instead of typically used directx. But mac you see in today's shops is same wintel hardware with slightly modded bios to make sure you can boot Mac OS on it.

Just put a windows on it and play your game. There was a point back in power PC mac days, but nowadays all macs are x86/amd64, so why?Because I don't want to constantly reboot to Windows just to play a few hours of GW2.
